SAT II Subject Tests
About
SAT Subject Tests are aimed at accessing a students' knowledge and skills in a particular subject area, and like the SAT Reasoning Test, SAT Subject Tests are used by US colleges and universities as part of their admissions evaluation. All Subject Tests are formatted to be one-hour, multiple-choice tests, with the exception of a select few.
Some colleges require specific Subject Tests for admissions, while others allow students to choose their test subjects themselves. Most students take 2-3 SAT II Subject Tests.

All Subject Tests are formatted to be one-hour, multiple-choice tests, with the exception of Biology E/M and Language tests with listening. Language tests with Listening also require students to bring their own CD Player, while the Mathematics Level 1 and 2 tests contain questions that require students to use a scientific or graphing calculator.
