AP (Advanced Placement) courses are college-level courses taken by high school students to improve their problem-solving and critical thinking skills, show collegrecognized throughout the US.

There are 37 AP courses and exams over 22 different subject areas:

AP exams are graded on a scale of 1 to 5, with a grade of 5 being an indicator of a student with a strong understanding a grasp of the subject. Most American colleges and universities will award credit or advanced standing for a grade of 4 or 5.
